This Day

The sunrise at the beach has dawned bright and clear. The wind is fierce. The gulls are floating in formation... in spite of the crosswinds.

~Soaring~

This morning at 10 we will say our final goodbyes to 'The Colonel'. We had our family ceremony in December, but this is the service with the pomp of a full military sendoff. Just what he deserves.

Y'all keep us in your hearts today.

Sandi as soon as I opened up this post the photo appeared and literally the sound of "Aaah" popped out of my mouth. So utterly beautiful. Then I read how this is the official send off for your dear father. How perfect a day for this tribute to a man of men. I know how close you all were to your dad. This is a special day just for him from God. I was reminded of a quote which said approx. this:
"Look out that window, that sky is how I love you!"
