Centerpiece of the Month~ February

It is time for the Centerpiece of the Month for the month of February. I hope that everyone had a special centerpiece around Valentine's Day. Tulips are my favorite.... you can't help but smile!

Blossom at InteriorRooms was showing off a fabulous vase of tulips in a perfect blend of colors.

Mom in High Heels is also showing off some tulips for Valentine's Day. Her photography helps make these blooms so special.

Bob & Terry at Lakewood Manor show off the meaning of romance. Terry's centerpiece is a simple boquet of roses, with her grandmother's china and a photo from their wedding. Pat always has something special. This time she has gone casual on the back porch with her soup for two.
Fifi has a special way to show off her Fifi Flowers. There are no rules here against a beautiful painting of a centerpiece. It couldn't be any lovlier!
Confessions of a Plate Addict has set her table with a few beads and baubles for Mardi Gras. Isn't it festive?
Rhoda really showed off her Southern Hospitality when she had us over for dinner. This centerpiece was so simple and yet so elegant. Check out her blog for a beautiful centerpiece and a great recipe.
Y'all enjoy!

Centerpiece of the Month ~ January

It is time for January's centerpieces of the month. I haven't had as many sent in this month, so had to do some trolling around the bloggy world.
I am sure there are some great centerpieces out there that I have probably missed... Y'all send them in !

Layla's Lettered Cottage is kicking off spring with some daffodils in the guest room. Layla is always simple, but perfect.
Between Naps on the Porch showed off a beautiful centerpiece on her porch... the very one she can nap on. I could sit a spell right there!

Picket's Place found something to replace those Christmas decorations on her kitchen table.
Pat at Back Porch Musing has posted a simple rooster on her kitchen table... It looks great to me! She posted this as a part of her Tuesday Tablescapes.
Rhoda at Southern Hospitality has been growing paperwhites, I can smell them from here.

My favorite of all is Just a Beach Kat. She made this creative centerpiece just for her superbowl party. That looks like a party to me!

What's on your table?

Y'all enjoy!

Centerpiece of the month~ December

This month the centerpieces are all about Christmas! We have a beautiful and amazing mix.

Pat at BackPorchMusings used both silver and gold to decorate her Christmas table.
This Southern Lady decorated her kitchen with a happy snowman
Nikki Crumpet was creative with her Christmas shrubbery. Despite what her husband said, I thought it was great Janie, who is Southern Lagniappe, used cars of candy in the center of her table. I wonder if this lasted through the holiday season with little ones around?
Mimi's Garden moved out of the garden for this tabletop decoration of glitter and bling.
Southern Hospitality is always posting some beautiful table decorations. This is one of my favorites... simple centerpieces that they did for the lunch at the Lovelady Center in Birmingham. After all~ that is really what Christmas is all about.
Just a Beach Kat posted her centerpiece just for me! This picture doesn't do it justice, you'll just have to go to the beach and check it out.
Kari & Kijsa set their table with paperwhites~ can't you just smell them from here?
The White Bench was set for the holidays with a beautiful display of vintage glass and plates. Monica used the things that she has treasured for years.
TasTe wiTh The EyeS posted a beautifully simple display of elegant angels.

Fine, Fancy, or Fun~ they are all festive!

Y'all enjoy~

Centerpiece of the Month

OMG!
When I did the roundup, I forgot the best centerpiece of the month for November.

It must have been an overdose of carbohydrates...
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Lori at Taste With the Eyes sent in this photo of Plymouth Rock.

What could have been better for the center of the Thanksgiving table.

Y'all send in your entries for December!

Centerpiece of the Month~ November

With Thanksgiving just behind us, I know there were some great centerpieces for the month of November. I would be telling a story if I said our centerpiece was anything but FOOD. With this, I am going to pick up some great ideas and maybe try them out with our Christmas dinner.

Cherry Hill Cottage was decorated inside and out. Tina always makes things just look fabulous.DebraK at Bunnies Bungalow also used a pumpkin for her Thanksgiving table. 4Reluctant Entertainers, Sandy showed how to not stress over a centerpiece. Simple, unique, and inexpensive. Jade at Apples & Oranges always has a great idea for a centerpiece. This time she has made a simple yet elegant decoration with votive candles and glitter... Perfect for Christmas! Pat is already decorating her Back Porch for Christmas... actually this is her beautiful dining room all in blue. Y'all send yours in for Christmas,
Sandi

Centerpiece of the month~ October

There have been some great centerpieces in the month of October. Some are decorating for Halloween, some for fall, some just for the fun of it.

At Mabel'sHouse there is a festive pumpkin centerpiece.

Scooterblu'sWhimsy is showing off some whimsical glittered acorns... these would look great on a Thanksgiving table.

The decorations at TrayBella were only for Halloween (I hope!)

JustaBeachKat sent in this beautiful arrangement on her dining room table. (sorry for the small size!)

PalmaBella'sPassions had enough beautiful centerpieces to fill an entire blog. I've restrained myself to two photos. Check out her blog for all the photos of the party.

Kimberly doesn't have a blog~ but want to join in the party. Here is her entry for the month of October.

Golden Tones

We are seeing a lot of scary centerpieces for the month of October. It might have something to do with Halloween. There is a lot of fun going on in blogland.
My centerpiece this month is a pretty bunch of roses in fall colors. It isn't all about Halloween!

Check out the golden tones!

Don't forget to send in your centerpieces... I'll be posting them next week.

Happy Halloween y'all,
Sandi

I am here in Palm Desert as kitchen help~ but at Casa Palmabella there is a certain amount of hospitality. Even for the help.
Palma has even has painted a room to match my luggage!
Not that we are working all that hard!

The Slow Travel GTG is tonight. This is the beautiful centerpiece from Bristol Farms. I love the fall colors.
I'll have more pictures to come.
Y'all enjoy!

Centerpiece of the Month~ September

Once again, I collected centerpieces for the month of September. I love seeing these~ they give me a smile, as if I had the bunch of flowers on my very own table.

YarnStorm is showing off sunflowers she grew herself. A whole variety, from the garden to the kitchen.
My Notting Hill showed some salvaged boquets. I love this idea for recycling a boquet by filling a couple of smaller vases.

Jade has shared a simple bowl of apples, beautiful and edible!Pat also showed off a simple centerpiece of apples on her beautiful new dining table.DebraK at The Bunnies Bungalow fashioned this cloche made of chicken wire.Kimberly sent me pictures of these battery powered candles that she loves. She doesn't have a blog~ but I am glad to show this off for her.Phyllis who is a little Shabby in the City sent in a great centerpiece that I couldn't get to load... So instead I picked this tin full of apples. It would be perfect for my kitchen table. Layla's Lettered Cottage once again has a table setting that is simple, and fabulous.

Tina's Cherry Hill Cottage is filled with fresh flowers, bought in bulk.Do you see a pattern here? All of these are very economical and yet really creative. A centerpiece doesn't have to break the bank.
I am off to the market to buy some apples!!

Y'all enjoy!
