I have decided that 2011 is going to be the year of contentment!
I plan to...
*dance at my daughter's wedding!
*cheer Auburn on to win the national championship.
*To get those orange gloves that I fell in love with in Florence.
* welcome a new son into our family.

*light candles just because I want to.
*to be more physically active and to look like I actually belong in a pair of skinny jeans.

* go paperless whenever possible.
* watch the sun rise in Tuscany and enjoy a sunset or two over the beautiful gulf waters.

*splash in puddles with my rainboots on
*To explore the moments in life that lead to contentment
and~ I'm way behind on Pedicures!
So where is your list of promises to yourself?
I hope you find the time to make one or two.
Happy New Year!

These New Years resolutions all sound doable Sandi. What I look most forward to in 2011 is the promsie of good things to come!!
I wouldn't mind joining you at a Tuscan sunrise.
This year I am focusing on the word "finish". I have a list of things to accomplish this year and they are all things I have started but not finished. I'm going to finish the kitchen, finish going through my mom's stuff, finish creating my books, finished my Tunisian crochet blanket, finish my quilts, etc. That isn't nearly all of it but almost anything of any importance in my life right now involves the word "Finish".
You have some very appealing resolutions/ promises, Sandi! I tried to do the monthly pedicure thing last year and got behind! But, I'm giving that a whirl again and have an appointment Thursday!
I especially like the one about splashing in the rainwater with our boots! ;)
Happy New Year!
I think I'll just go with your list....it's wonderful! Now about that sunrise..........
love you list - contentment and a touch of whimsy
get to beach
drive aimlessly somewhere with no agenda or schedule, pick a hotel when i get there and enjoy where i land
chase butterflies
figure out what keeps eating all the flowers i plant
What a gorgeous list of resolutions. A Tuscan sunrise sounds heavenly!
