Hope

HOPE
This single word best describes the momentous day. I, like so many of you, couldn't help but be glued to to TV. This is the way we change administrations in America.
Peacefully, ceremonially, with a fortune in pomp and circumstance.
Now we can move on.
.

"Be the change you want to see in the world" Ghandi

God Bless America!

Another quote from Gandhi that I read on a political blog yesterday:

"First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win."
That sounds a lot like Obama's story, and perhaps a precursor to his relationship with the Republicans in the Sentate!

More than forty million Americans did not vote for Obama despite the media slobbering over him for almost two years. I have hope that he will not allow our country to be destroyed, I have hope that he is not truly a closet socialist, and I have hope that the administration will change in four years.

BTW, I enjoy your blog so I hope you realize not all of your readers share your political views.

JoAnn~ you obviously don't follow our blog very closely. He may not of had our vote... but that is cold soup now.
We need to support him, and hope that we can get out of this mess.
Stop by a little more often!
