Grinders

Are you into grinders? You can find them in just about any herb/spice or blend. I use them in everything. A quick grind of peppers on pizza, A little grind of Italian spices in olive oil as a bread dip, A twist of lemon pepper on salmon. My only problem is that it is a little harder to measure exactly. Actually not MY problem~ but if you notice my recipes are a little vague. The grinder is to blame!

Lydia at the Perfect Pantry is featuring the WhistleStop pantry this week. She features a different pantry every week. Believe me it isn't because mine is organized or clean. Maybe while I'm traveling Bill will get this stuff organized (again).

At least I know where things are!

Last year we all showed our pantry's~ I've shown mine. Now y'all show yours.

I love grinders - you are inspiring me to use them for more then just pepper!

I like grinders too but showing my pantry? It's the stuff of horror movies! LOL Hope you had a wonderful Easter.

I do not have a pantry...yet! I am having one in my new house, though. Right now, I am looking for some old screen doors to use to enter it.

Grinders...I do not know about such. I try to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible.

I have a cabinet that I put all our spices in. Once in awhile I get it all organized and pretty...then my husband cooks and that's the end of the pretty! LOL I've never used grinders, but I'm going to have to give 'em a try!

Karla~ so much more than pepper!
Joan~ we know where things are, that's all that matters.
Tonja~ grinders are right up your ally... a twist on a frozen pizza and you are up town.
Jan~ I'll admit, Bill is the organized one in this family.

Grinders are good fun, grab, grind and enjoy, we need more of that in life!

Liked your Irish saying, oh so true, we need to watch what we think and do so we can concentrate on being the best we can be.

Hi Sandi

Wow...it seems forever since I've visited. I've had fun this afternoon though "catching up" on all the good posts I've missed. You've been busy. It's been fun though reading them all.

Show my pantry...you must be kidding?!

Hugs!

I love my Nutmeg grinder that Mama gave me for Christmas about 15 years ago...nothing like fresh ground nutmeg on rice pudding or in Swedish meatballs...now as to the pantry...are you mad, woman?
hugs

Mine isn't very organized, but at least I know where everything is. I'm waiting to remodel my kitchen - to "really" get organized. LOL.

I love grinders, too. The flavor and aroma is much more intense. I was just telling Bear last night that we need to get another rock salt grinder. It mysteriously broke and no one in my home has a clue... Hmmm...

My pantry could use some attention and a bit of fresh paint too! I do have a couple of those grinders. I like to use a Tuscan blend in dipping oil. I am sooo envious of your upcoming trip to Bella Italia!

That looks very organized to me! Yes I do like the grinders! I wish had had a spot to hang linens like you do.
Looks like an excellent and well stocked pantry.
