Centerpiece of the Month~ January

As I was taking pictures of the snow, this is what I saw. It looks like the perfect Centerpiece of the Month! So this will be my entry~ This is a real center-piece!
Now I have a question for the rest of you...
What do y'all think about the voting for the best Centerpiece of the Month? I didn't mean it to be any major to-do. It is s'posed to be fun. We had a bit of a snaffoo last month when I posted 2 photos for one person. My fault. I didn't even think about that! We have tried to send a little sumpin'sumpin to the winner... nothing big.
So... Do you think we aught to vote for a winner? or Just post them for fun?
I have a few for the January round-up~ I'll post them at the end of the month.
Y'all send yours in,
Sandi

I love seeing the pictures and getting ideas from them. Please continue to post them. As for voting...if there's a prize involved it's a great way to award a winner.

Love your snow picture!

Hi Sandi,

I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I've been out of commission for a few days but hoping to get back to posting tomorrow and catching up.

Come see me soon!

Hugs,
Hope

I sure enjoy seeing them. If it won't become too much of a chore to buy and mail a prize each month, that would be nice too. Maybe just a cute "centerpiece of the month" button to put on their blog would be easier.

Hugs!

Oh, I love seeing them, but don't go to a bunch of trouble. I like the "centerpiece of the month" button on the blog idea. In my humble opinion, it's award enough just to have your centerpiece posted! : )

Just checking in...

I loved your pictures of the snow and comment about the sled getting smaller made me laugh out loud! We had some snow here in Montgomery too--but you're right, it didn't last thru dinner.

I posted about the Milk, Bread & Eggs thing too and rushing out to the grocery store! I got caught up in it! Guess we can live off of French Toast for a while! ;-)

Have a good week!

Hi Sandi,

I enjoy seeing the centerpieces, too, but don't think a "winner" is necessary. We are all the winners for getting the inspiration from all of those who take the time to send theirs in.

Oh how I love your blog! We live just 30 miles from where they filmed the movie and love having a meal there at the cafe. It's just as it was in the move. By the way I have a Whistle Stop Cafe Cook book. Loved hearing from you. And those rain boots are great.

I'm always up for voting on something. Do you have to enter to be eligible to vote? Or can people with no centerpiece making talent cast their votes for their favorite? I mean geez...I may not be able to MAKE a great centerpiece, but I can still RECOGNIZE one, you know.

:)
Kari

P.S. I think your current entry is PERFECT!

Hi Sandi,
Love your snowy centerpiece-it's perfect for January. I don't think I've ever voted, just like to see how others are decorating.
Stay warm,
Holley

That's a great winter centerpiece & exactly what it looks like at my house.

Voting is fun & getting a little sumpin' is fun too. I'm all for it, so please don't stop.
A nice little button to display on your blog would be nice too.
Hugs, DebraK

What a neat idea, I love seeing how creative folks out in blogland are. I hardly look at my magazines anymore cuz there is so much fun stuff happening on blogs like yours. A prize is a great motivator but for folks like me just a nod and a "good job, gal!" is great too.
Thanks!
