Man About Town

Check out this short film that Fannie Flagg has made for book clubs. It was filmed here in Birmingham just a few months ago.

Did you recognise the guy hanging out on the street?
Y'all enjoy!

I never realized she had such a sweet soft accent!

Loved it!

I wonder if she has a book on tape with her voice reading the book...I'll have to check on that....

Have a great day!

I need a plate of those tomatoes today...they'd fill that hollow spot just right. I just love Fanny to bits...loved her in Candid Camera and on the Match game and love her writing, too. A Red Bird Christmas is my favorite after Fried Green Tomaotoes at The Whistlestop Cafe...lucky Bill!

Oh, that was great, Sandi! I loved seeing Fannie about town. Your Bill did great out there on the sidewalk. I am going to have to get over to Irondale & eat me some fried green tomatoes. I think I'll take my hubby over there one Sat. & do just that.
