This church door is on one of the Elafiti Islands we visited in Croatia. It is a tiny chapel that sits next to the village cemetary. It was so tiny that each door panel was only about 12 inches wide.
I was touched by the broken stone on the door frame. Imagine the number of hands that have brushed this door over the centuries.

What a beautiful place! I just got back from a business trip to Slovenia and should have hopped over to Croatia for the weekend.
