My entry was a simple bunch of gerber daisies in a vase of asparagus.
Joan sent in a picture of this centerpiece. The vase has golf balls in the bottom, can you see? She said that she has also seen it with eggs in the bottom~ which would have fit in with our theme.
Kim at Scrap-To-My-Lu sent in one of my favorites. She was decorated up for 'the food slinging'~ check out her site for lots of fun ideas! Her centerpiece was full of pumpkins and berries.
Meeta at What's For Lunch Honey has the ultimate post on centerpieces. She always takes the time to include detailed directions~ for those of us who are centerpiece challenged. This is a bouquet of apples.
Can you see the theme here? Everyone included something that is not your traditional flower centerpiece. They have included fruits and veggies that can make a beautiful longer lasting arrangement. These pictures were so great that this month I've decided to add a prize to the winner of the month. Y'all leave a comment on who you think is most deserving and I will send off a little sumpin-sumpin.
Don't forget to send me a link for December~ what's on your table? I know there are some great holiday centerpieces out there.

There all gorgeous! Maybe I'll do something for December...'tis the season and all!
They all look lovely...every single one of them. I am going to pick scrap to my lu as my favorite. I did not have a centerpiece this month. I hope to do one for December.
Some very creative decorating cooks out there!
lovely and cheerful center pieces.
Hey. Good to find you again. Several months ago I tried to start a blog - elegant grace. I believe it was you who commented me on a picture of some fried green tomatoes I had made. I hope you remember. Well, that blog experience just did not take off, but I am trying again. Hope you can pay me a visit.
Sandi, I love the fact everyone used edible stuff for their centerpieces. There are so many awesome ideas. I'll send you an email on my fave!
KatieZ~ Show us what's on your table
One for Scrap-to-my-lu!
Janet~ you are just as creative, for sure.
Thanks Tina!
Grits~ I will stop in for coffee, and maybe bring a friend or two.
Meeta~ you can vote for yourself... it is great!
Those are all absolutely gorgeous. Very inspiring. Thanks.
So lovely! I love the idea of using the asparagus.

What lovely, lovely centerpieces!!! I love everyone's mix of colors and textures!
We're always cramped for space at our table (it usually becomes a homework depository)! Right now my centerpiece is only an aqua depression glass bowl with apples in it. I must do something a little more fancy!
Those all are so pretty! It will be tough to pick a winner!
