Southern Style Pedicure?

Have you seen this new way of getting a pedicure? Some upscale salons are using Doctor Fish so that people can get an environmentally friendly pedicure. These fish feed off of the dead skin on feet~ leaving your heels and toes soft as a baby's bottom.
I can't imagine paying extra for this! This has been going on in the south for years. We just never thought of it as a spa treatment.

I have always hated the feeling of dangling my feet in the lake. The little crapie would swarm... I think they were looking for bread crumbs and my toes just were in the way. Still, not a feeling I liked.

Maybe the catfish farms could open up a spa on the weekends.

I'd rather go to the corner salon, Nail Princess, any day.
Y'all enjoy!

Now I don't know about the fish thing. That seems... uh... well... weird. I'd freak out. And I grew up playing with fish my grandfather used as bait.

I saw this and really I'm not so sure. I think I'd have a panic attack as soon as I put my feet in! The idea is very intersting though.

That fish pedicure sounds like it really sucks, so to speak.

I don't think I would enjoy that too much! I'm a simple kinda gal.

Very interesting though.

Enjoy your week!

I saw this in the paper and thought it looked disgusting. I showed it to my hubby who thought it would be fun

Oh my! I don't think I'll be having a fish pedicure anytime soon ...lol! I'd rather walk on the sand and let that do the job.
I wonder if those fish tickle?

Ahhhh, ya. Think I'll just let my beautician do my pedicures, thankyouverymuch.

As much as I love my pedicures, I think I will pass on this one. I can be environmentally concious somewhere else. Are those fish related to piranhas? YIKES! Just seems "fishy" / creepy to me.

Plus, my nail lady massages my feet and I bet those fish wont. ;)

Hmmm. Growing ou on the muddy Mississippi I, apparently, have had my share of expensive spa treatments, too. We called'em sunfish!

I had no idea that this was fashionable! I'm so ticklish that I'd probably have the fish laughing!

I seen this on TV and I do love a good pedicure but not sure I want little fish nibbling at my feet. What will they think of next? LOL
