So I was glad to hear that we were having a real cooking class with Gail's Great Escape . We made our entire meal, pork roast, gnocchi, fresh picked cherry preserves, and tiramisu! The tiramisu is very simple ~Strong black coffee, eggs and marscarpone, and ladyfingers. Here I've posted a recipe similar to this. But... there is something to be said for using the freshest ingredients! The marscarpone cheese was straight from the cheese farm and the eggs from the chickens. The coffee was dark and strong... no need for rum!
Guiseppe, the owner Tenuta Santo Pietro , shows off his cooking skills. Who doesn't love an Italian man with a whisk?

It was finger licking GOOD!!!
Hey sista..I only cook with eggs from chickens??? I know what you meant..... "fresh eggs"! It looks delicious! Could we just drizzle it with rum when you make it for us?
I would being going through 'withdrawal' symptoms from Italy after your trip! This cooking event sounds like it was so much fun! I've shared a great recipe link on your blog hop and hope that you share something yummy too over my weekend Fresh Food Friday blog event (if you have already done so, please forgive me). Have a great afternoon!!!!
What fun! Eye candy, and the desserts look good too!

Tiramisu is definitely a favorite of mine!
Guiseppe is my Friday Favorite. He looks yummy! :o)
Love Tiramisu, can have it anytime of the day. You made it sound so easy to make. Love the effort you guys put in!
I vote for an Italian man with or without his wisk! Sounds divine. I think I gained a pound reading it.
