I love me a big glass of sweet home-brewed tea! I'll enjoy a cup at home since I worked today.
Enjoy yours and I promise you I'll enjoy mine too!
Love your sweet tea post...it's always sweet tea in our house, too! I went to the tea party in our state capitol today...and have posted a report on my blog...we had a lot of fun and loved reading all of the clever and creative signs!
XOXO

Sandi, I loved having sweet tea for the first time in Savannah with you and the slowtrav gang. Then again in Charleston. I want to make some for my west coast friends. It's wonderful.
I'm not a tea drinker, but if I were, I'd drink it sweet and cool the Southern way, on my front proch whilst watching the sun go down.

I had heard that Birmingham had a nice turnout. Here, in Tuscaloosa, on the Quad, it was maybe 500 ppl? Blessings
Hello~ Home brewed is the only kind.
Joni~ Your post was great... y'all dressed in your housewife aprons at the tea party.
Barb~ you can come to Alabama for a glass of sweet tea any time
Kate~ that is the best way to enjoy a sunset.
Linda~ I wasn't able to get to a tea party... only in spirit.
Ditto on taxes and tea parties!
I recently came across a recipe for Arnold Palmer ice tea - it's a 50/50 mix of tea and lemonade. Looking forward to trying it! Thanks for all the yummy recipes!
Thanks for the recipe,Sandy. It is quite warm in Philly this weekend. I think that I will whip up a batch. We love Sweet Tea. As soon as we get to the Beach in South Carolina, our first stop is in Publix to p/u a Gallon (or 3) of Sweet Tea. We always bring a few gallons home with us. Now I will make it myself!
