The Land of OZ

This year Harrods has transformed to HarrOzs for Christmas.
The green Christmas lights have transformed it into the Emerald City. The windows are a fascinating display of the Wizard of Oz. Where else would you hope to find some ruby slippers, except at Harrods in London? What size would you like? Since we went to see 'Wicked' at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, we know the real story of the wicked witch and Galinda the good witch. It is a fabulous show!
Now I can have a pair of slippers of my very own.
Cheers y'all!

I've been enjoying all your posts from London. I was there this time last year and would love to be there now. Thanks for sharing the Harrods/Oz pictures! Have you been to the Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park? Have a great rest-of-the-trip!
Cheers,
Leah

The last Christmas we lived in England I spent with my darling Bubbles shopping in Harrods and buying the earth to take to the States...what a wonderful shopping trip that was!

Leigh- wouldn't those look snazzy in Helena?
Leah- Hyde Parks Holiday festival is fabulous... even better than Bath's Christmas market.
Cora- Ruby red slipper on everyone's christmas list.
Sandi- I have lost a few pounds on this trip as well.

Wow, what a fun gift for an OZ fan. How does an American get her hands on those?

Oh dear! According to their website, the ruby slippers have sold out and are no longer available in store or online. :(
