Photo Hunt ~ four

The photo hunt for this week is 'four'.
These are photos of 'Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi" or the Fountain of Four Rivers in Rome.
It is one of Bernini's amazing creations.
We'll have an up close view in May when we are drinking cappuccino in Piazza Navona!
Y'all enjoy!
Sandi

OMG! One of my favorite spots in the world. There is a little store in the square on one of the corners/ha that has the most beautiful bowls, etc. every color you can imagine. I spent hours in there, just couldn't decide, you lucky girl! They just wrap it up and ship it for you. Then after you get home, it is so much fun to have fedex deliver your box. It was like Christmas for me,,I couldn't believe I bought so much.
Now I wish I had bought twice that much. I'll have to make some pictures and blog about some of my favorite purchases/ha

LOL - I almost used this fountain for my 'four' shot too. Thank goodness I went a different route. I guess that is like showing up at a party wearing the same outfit as someone else. *smile*

Happy Saturday!

Just the name Piazza Navona brings back such sweet memories. I can't think of the name of it right now, but there's a restaurant we love there. Oh...my mouth is watering.

Speaking of food, we had breakfast yesterday at Keedy's :-)

Hugs!
Kat

Amazing sculpture, whether or not it's a fountain. Hope the presumably constantly flowing water doesn't erode the sculptures!

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I have gone private for a short time. It seems that my blog was HACKED. I am not sending out invites until I know exactly what to do. Just wanted to let you know that you are not being excluded from Dust Bunny Hostage :) "I'll be back!"

Great choice. I love this fountain. It was under construction when we were there in June, but I know they are done working on it.So you sure will enjoy it with your cap. or gelato.
