Christmas Spirit

This year has been very different for us. It has been hard to get into the Christmas spirit without the incentive of having the kids come home, or family visiting.
I forced myself to drag out the tree and decorations. Now I am so glad I did...
Because Louise at Whispering Poppies is having a Christmas open house and a giveaway!
I would have hated for y'all to show up with me just sitting in my robe and house shoes.
Y'all come on in and have a gingerbread muffin and a cup of coffee with some frothy eggnog.
Merry Christmas y'all,
Sandi

yummy!!! I can understand the difficulty in getting excited as I haven't put up a tree in about 10 years because I go home for Christmas. But this year we used my ornaments at home, and it made me feel a part of it all again.

Oh yes! Sometimes we need to honor the season just for ourselves. Looks as if you've done a splendid job of it! Thank you for being such a gracious hostess. I've enjoyed my time here today.

I grumble about decorating every Christmas, but then am glad when I do. It's not the putting up I hate - it's the taking down and putting it all away. You know?

Anyway - Merry Christmas Sandi. And have a great weekend!

I'll me right over for that hot chocolate. Yummy. We didn't put up a tree this year because my hubby has been in and out of the hospital. I just love your tree. Thank you for sharing it with me. I hope you have a blessed and joyful holiday season, Carol
