A New Neighbor

We have a new neighbor!

The kind of neighbor that makes you want to visit every day, just to see what's new. We are only 2 miles apart... I could walk if I wanted to.

I visited the other day and found these precious red rubber gloves. I don't know what I will be using them for... not cleaning!

What a fantastic neighbor to have!

Where else could you find such cute things, hot new fashions, chic decorating ideas...
The Target is open!Whoo~Hoo!

Target is my very most favorite store! I run in there for one thing and always go to the register with my arms loaded down with stuff!

Before any trip we make to the States we map out the nearest target! The Archer farms foods are good as well.

Aren't you the lucky one! I love going to Target.

I love my Target; we were just in there today, pricing cameras, and the camera guy was just so knowledgeable and helpful. I met a friend who had come in for one thing, and then realized she could do all her grocery shopping.

i don't like WalMart, though . . .

Ooh I love Target. I love their Rachel Ashwell Simply Shabby line of linens they carry. I always go in there with one item on my list and leave with a cart-full.

love Target...mine is a little further than walking distance but my new job is just across the road from one! Now that could be dangerous, lol

Too funny! Those gloves are cute and wearing them will hopefully making cleaning a bit more bareable ~ hehehe.
I don't live too far from Target but try not to go often because I always leave with a cart full of stuff I really like and want but really don't need.
Have a great day.

I love the gloves - I think I need to make a Target Run. Thanks for your comment on my Pharmeceutical Phreebies post. Yep, my daughter is a waitress. She gets lots of attention with her Viagra pen. Her's doesn't have any special abilities, but she says if it did, it would get her more tips. Glad you came by to read. I'm always curious as to how people find me - I think I have a total of 5 regulars. Nice to read your site. I'm a Fannie Flagg Fan. My favorite of hers is A Redbird Christmas, with Fried Green Tomatoes running a close second. Your shop sounds lovely. Wish I could drop by and browse!

WOO HOO! is right. There is one being built about a mile from our house. It's set to open in the fall but today as I drove home from work I noticed the TARGET sign was up. Yeah!

Yay for you! I love my Super Target and my Sweet Hubby is always teasing me and saying that the only reason I wanted to move to this house is because it was so near the store. You can bet I will be on the lookout for those fantastic gloves.

Nel~ we have to pace ourselves
Sandy~ I'm thinking they might be better for painting furniture than cleaning.
Adriann~ don't get us-small American business folks- started on Walmart!
Taunalen~ I must have popped in from one of your 5 regulars... you are welcome back anytime.
Cheryl~ Target...in McCalla? You are going uptown!!
Jill~ I said I could walk~ not that I do walk.
Jen~ Look in the $1 bins =D

You LUCKY girl! Believe it or not we all threw a celebration when Family Dollar came to Jefferson last year and the crowds just keep coming! We have no grocery store, pharmacy or dime store...one restaurant in town, The Gold Nugget (there was a gold mine here up til about 5 years ago)and people come to it from miles around...there's a rumor that a Fred's store is coming to Chesterfield (the County Seat, 20 miles away) so when I tell you we live in the back of beyond, you can take that to the bank!

Yes ma'am, we are getting a new neighbor in Oct., too. Only about 12 miles away. I cannot wait to see Target near our neighborhood!

I too have a love for Target. It might lean more toward an obsession-okay, okay, I'm more like a stalker-I HAVE to go in there every week.

I boycotted Target for about 5 years. (I'm REALLY hard-core when a place ticks me off. lol) I had a bit of a disagreement with the Target store in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida - they have NO concept of customer service - but when we moved to Texas, a new Target was just fixing to open in our town. I deemed Target worthy of another chance (lol). And that was my first mistake. I'm thinking of just putting them on a monthly allotment from our checking account. It'd save a lot of wear and tear on my debit card. I LOVE the place. (Hello, my name is Kari and I'm a Target addict...)

You lucky girl! I love Target. Unfortunately the nearest store is an hour away. Don't spend too much money there! LOL

Sandi @the WhistleStop Cafe said...

Wilzmom~ And they love you for it.
Kari~ I understand American Express offers a rehab program for shoppers like you.
Susan~ what would you use yours for?
Judy~ the feeling is mutual I'm sure
Sally~ Lucky Mee!

Oh my...Target is a very dangerous place. I have to force myself to NOT go in there because I easily drop $100 every time I step foot in that store. I LOVE Target!
