The PhotoHunt for today is 'Quaint'
This is one of my favorite past-times in Italy . . .
Just sitting at the little corner cafe, drinking a spritz, and watching the people rush by.
It is a Quaint little spot.
Check for all the other Quaint Photos on The Saturday PhotoHunt
Happy Hunting y'all~

Black~Eyed Pea Salad
I wanted to post the recipe for my Black-Eyed Pea Salad that I made while at the beach for our intimate poolside party for 60.
But . . . In all the excitement (and perhaps the influence of bushwackers), I didn't take a single photo of the peas. Or the salad. Or the 60+ people enjoying the salad.
In 2012 I did take pictures of red onions . . .
Black-Eyed Pea Salad
5 cans black-eyed peas
1 red onion
2 tomatoes
1 red bell pepper
1 bunch cilantro
1 small can diced jalapenos
1 bottle italian dressing
Rinse the canned peas until they are clear of that thick sauce. Dice onion and tomato. Chop cilantro. Combine in a large bowl with jalapenos and italian dressing. Allow to sit overnight or several hours.
This makes a huge bowl.
With a view like this . . . is it any wonder I forgot to take pictures of the peas?
Y'all enjoy,
Sandi

The Coolest Party
I finally have something to post for Blue Monday.
We have just gotten back from a fabulous wedding weekend at the beach.
Rob & Brandi took care of all of the wedding details (photos to come). We got to plan the 'coolest party' for the night before the wedding.
Since it was a destination wedding for everyone, we wanted to have a casual evening for family and friends. A chance for everyone to mingle and get to know each other.
I couldn't have done it without my A-team of helpers. Even Hope was a big help. . . and she is the cutest as she is resting before the party.
This was an area that is poolside at Caribe. We swooped in as folks went in for the afternoon. Throwing out table cloths to claim our party space. A party banner helps!
We decorated with pinwheels and giant bubble wands. Perfect for the poolside, since the kids were all wanting to swim. The adults were close enough, but could enjoy their evening too.
Such a fun night.
The weather was perfect (compared to the rainy evenings all week prior). Even the sunset cooperated.
We had made a bucket of sand and kerosene burners for a s'more station. (what kind of dessert can you serve when the bride is a pastry chef ??? )
It was a great way to end the evening . . . And begin the wedding weekend.
Don't forget to check in at Smiling Sally for more blues and Coastal Charm for her 'Show and Share'.
Y'all enjoy ~

PhotoHunt ~ Toes
The PhotoHunt today is 'Toes'
I think you could say that I have Traveling Toes . . .
Lots of pictures of my toes on the go . . .
Toms are my favorite traveling shoes ~ except for the time that only rain boots would do.
Toes in the sand. . .
It's a way to take my picture without a selfie stick
When you travel alone, it is a way to remember where you've been.
Even for a Southern girl at the Vatican.
