So . . . I went a little crazy and posted DOORS
The Doors and Door knockers in Malta are each unique and fabulous ~ even on buildings in disrepair.
As we wandered through the hilly and windy streets of Valletta, you could find a story in every door.
I think a grandmother must live here ~ who else would leave a little handprint in the stain of a door?
This is a hand of a different sort. . . And another beautiful door. Because the buildings are all made of the local limestone they are light in color. The brightly painted doors really pop.

I see more doors when I am on a holiday then at home.
These are all great. My favorite is the one from Valletta with the hand print.

I'm a crazy nut about doors! A friend of mine's hobby is photographing doors. It might sound nuts, but there are more wonderfully beautiful doors out there,from old to new, and truly many of them are works of art! Hope you're having a wonderful 2014 Sandi!
