Palma is the queen of pottery! Brad is a champion schlepper when it comes to shopping in Italy. They have learned the easiest way is to just have things shipped home... like this beautiful poppy platter we saw on her last shopping trip.
Everyone of the 6 tables was set with a different table scape and the most beautiful ceramics you have ever seen. I couldn't help but snap some pictures~
This 600 pound ceramic table was shipped from Positano.
It is the perfect place for a gathering of good friends~ for leftovers and paper plates after the cleanup.
That was the best night of all!
I am missing y'all~

I can't wait to show Brad, as soon as he is done kneading the fig bread dough!

Gail~ leftovers are always better when shared
Chick~ I am glad you are enjoying your cookbook!! post some recipes from it.
Palma~ you need to give Brad a break, sugar =D
Kat~ The table is sitting out by her pool, the weather doesn't hurt it.
Jerry~ It gives me a little while to pay down the American Express.
Adrian & Sally~ isn't it georgous
Mary Ann~ the photo display is to simple to do... give it a try.
So are you home yet?? Girl, you are doing some mighty fine eating! Wow, that looks great. I love Italian pottery, those folks know how to do it well.

Wow, love that table...it looks like a lovely group!
I agree - shipping things back is definitely the easiest! When we were in Italy we shipped some pottery and I wrapped some in my carry on - I was so nervous it would break!
Karla
600 pounds?? The shipping costs alone were probably as much as the table. Gracious! But it is gorgeous.
Love,
Julie
I love, love, love that poppy platter and the table!! Oh my goodness, to own those! Thank you for sharing those!
Barbara
The table is beautiful!
Everything looked terrific!!
Rhoda~ I am home long enough to do laundry and then I'm off again.
Julie~ Palma's story about getting that thing delivered was hilarious. Needless to say it isn't moving!
Barbara~ I was only joking when I said I was going to put it in my suitcase (I tried but it didn't fit)
